Bossier City, LA Where to stay?

Wife is dragging me to the Tim McGraw and Faith hill concert in Bossier City since the friend that was going is having a baby the same day. And she told me to find a place to stay. It's this coming Tuesday night. I've never been to Bossier so looking for recommendations on where to stay and not to stay...

I stay at the Hilton garden inn off Minden road.
They have a free shuttle runs till 2am. It is about third of the price compared to the casinos

My go to is to stay at the Horseshoe but that's usually cause the rooms are comped. I've stayed at Sam's town and margaritaville a few times as well but always prefer the Horseshoe

If you're looking for something outside of a casino. I've only stayed at the Courtyard at the strip mall and the Remington Suite off Travis and Spring st

Casino. If you go early enough and lose lots of money they may feel sorry for you and comp the room

depends on how much you want to spend. Casinos are nice, but really expensive on the weekends. The older casinos are a lot cheaper than the new ones. They are fine to stay at though. The new ones are really cheap Sunday thru Thursday nights, less than the chain hotels. For the chain hotels, there are a lot at Pines Rd and I-20. The only place I would say to stay away from is Monkhouse drive and I20, it can be pretty shady.

I go to Shreveport several weeks a year for work... they won't let me stay at a casino so I stay at the Residence Inn in from of the Horseshoe. There is also a Courtyard Inn and both are right there by casinos, the boardwalk and Bass pro.

El Dorado is very nice. I use to get rooms comped, but now they are sending vouchers for $250 Samstown is next door, but I haven't stayed there

I usually stay at eh Fairfield Inn or the Courtyard. Central and way to get around and both are clean. But I’m there for work and don’t go to the casinos normally
