    Venison Wellington 2 ways

    I had always heard about beef wellington but never tried it so last night we made it two different ways. A traditional wellington calls for a mushroom stuffing and since our dinner guest didn't like mushrooms we decided to do one wrapped with bacon and topped with bacon jam. This was served with a garlic risotto and asparagus. Both turned out great but the bacon won hands down! Oh and for dessert we sipped on some basil haydens!
