I learned to tie a tie in high school. I don't like to wear them much anymore, but when the occasion dictates more formal attire, I wear a tie.

Learned to tie one in junior high. Guy named Ivan Olsen from El Campo worked at Brewster Duncan Men's shop taught me and I never forgot how to tie one after that.
