Buck in the pig trap.

Of all the feeders on the place this buck prefers to eat his corn in the pig trap for some reason. About every other night we get sent a pic of him in there munching away. Just got this one

I had a hog trap at my buddies place due to his hog problem... I caught and released deer every other day. Sometimes 2 at a time. I have also "caught" lots of steers up at the deer lease.

Don't know why he prefers crawling under that door back there to walking up to a feeder with no pen.

Have you tried draping a burlap sack over the opening? from the top of the door to the ground? Had that problem but once I did that, I haven't caught anymore. Hogs don't care, but deer don't seem to like it.

Edit: I see now it's a large trap. I was referencing box traps.
