Default SD cards and TSA scanning machines

I will be traveling with my new camera and was wondering if TSA scanning machine will hurt my SD card.

None that I am aware of. I travel with my DSLR and gear on airplanes all the time and always carry it on board with me. I have never had an issue and don't think you ever will.

Nope! Xray effects film but not solid state anything.
