Thanks everybody! The long wait to get him back from the taxi begins, dropped him off on the way home this evening. It's definitely a hunt that I will never forget and one that will be hard to top. I'm sure he is up there now bragging to everyone about the deer his grandson got with his bow right now. I miss him like crazy everyday but knowing that he is still at the lease with us will make being down there a little easier. Thanks again everybody for taking the time to read the novel I typed out haha good luck to everyone this season and God bless

Our lease is in lampasas, been on it for 30 years now. The deer quality has made a huge turn for the better over the years
