This is a hogs-only feeder spot. Not many deer-been hunting hogs on this ranch for about 10 years and I think I've seen one shooter buck--and that was in the river bottom pasture. Moving the trap back to this location from the river bottom this week too--and Rebelaggie--you'll get some more pork, for sure.

I am in the same boat. But I have put the hurt on them in the past few months. Where is that thread about number of pigs killed in 2015. I can for sure make that number climb.

Put up panels around it, probably 3-4 20 footers 4 foot tall and leave it open for a few nights until the get used to it. Then put a trap door on the opening. Preferably a guillotine style gate and leave it open a couple nights or until they get used to it. Then, set it!! Make pen / trap big enough to hold a bunch and put your trigger for the trap at the back of the trap and put allot of corn in between the front gate and the trigger. Then just put a good pile of corn around the trigger. By the time the make it to the trigger, you would have gotten probably at least 3/4 of the herd in there. I have caught 32 in one trap with this method. Good luck.

Build a circle trap and catch them and build a feeder pen around your feeder.

Most likely ought to build a trap pen around it--or move my other one to this site.
