Darn snakes

Cleaning out the camper today for a trip to the coast. Set stuff on the ground so I can clean out the front storage. After about an hour of me cleaning and blowing out the compartment I look down and see this.

That was almost not good! I almost got tagged several weeks ago because I didn't see one similar in size and picked up some trash right next to it. I only saw it when it struck at me. Amazing how well they can hide in the wide open.

I was inches from it for a while. Afterward I noticed it was where the ac condensation was dripping on the ground. It found a cool place I guess. I feel lucky for sure!

I believe it crawled up after I set the stuff out on the ground.
