Default North Korea has nuclear missiles says Wash Post

"North Korea has successfully produced a miniaturized nuclear warhead that can fit inside its missiles, crossing a key threshold on the path to becoming a full-fledged nuclear power, U.S. intelligence officials have concluded in a confidential assessment."

What's our next move to keep Kim from pulling the trigger?

I think he is fixing to get hit hard. We and the S Koreans are doing war games south of them and China is doing the same in the north and east......

Hopefully the $1 billion in sanctions hits him hard.
I found this even more disturbing

Todays political class has no desire to do anything to the little fat boy. Trump and his team may want to take preventative action at some point but he will not get any support.
I dont believe anything serious will take place until we have no choice and that only comes after he sets one of our cities on fire.
Then Trump will be blamed for doing nothing to prevent it

This is not going to end well.... I'm just so glad Hillary and her cronies are not calling the shots..

It amazing that the few liberals that I communicate with, very few, are blaming this on Trump... It's incredible how stupid some people are...

Yea he built ICBM's and nuclear warheads in 9 months.. REALLY??
Gullible would be a understatement..

Kinda off topic but does one of these media outlets look a little more biased than the others?

If this is truly the case, we need to end it and end it now. If true, this cannot stand and an example needs to be made of Fatty.

Trumps statement about Fire, Fury and Power like never seen before is idiotic, IMO.

If you're going to go kick someones arse don't announce it, just go do it.

Right no need to talk about it but I thought Trump didn't telegraph his actions. Those words he used today were used by Harry Truman before we attacked Hiroshima.

From here on out any missle launched from NK needs to be blown out of the sky, shortly after launch. No more of this testing BS. If it goes up it gets shot down. Position anti-missle defenses along South Korea borders and Japan and all American allies in the Pacific.

Maybe maybe not. Time will tell. But I see this as a final warning. Trump didn't telegraph how or when. Now unlike p***y Obama, Trump better be willing to dig in and follow through. Obama made it clear that line drawn is drawn in erasable crayons. Trumps better be in permanent marker.

I actually believe that it won't hit the fan if trump takes a stand. China and the US have to much economically invested in each other. Same with Japan an SK. Russia isn't a big player but they too have lots to be invested in. North Korea is that little thorn ******* in the side living in the past that hasn't advanced. They have nothing really to offer besides real estate. Our biggest ally in this is Japan. If we allow them to rebuild their military might then North Korea is done. The danger is giving Japan that strength and power. Do they hold grudges?

you maybe right about the U.S. and China having too much invested in each other, so who would China rather not be around? the U.S. or N.K.? I would rather think that they can do without the N.Ks more than the U.S.

they want us to kick the N.K. *** and get rid of their problem for them.
then they can go running around the world and blame us for the catastrophe that could happen if we have to nuke them.

I don't think it would be a Nuke thing. The civilized countries don't want a nuke war. Remember the movie war games? There is no winner. It's the rogue nations that are the problem.

Nothing will happen. This is all for show and the fat kid's ego.

Kim knows he and NK will be vaporized if they launch anything after today. If he attacks SK, Guam, Hawaii, the US mainland, Japan, or any other US allied country, all he accomplishes is his own demise. The US will have to assume any NK missile launch from now on is a first strike and not a test and we will retaliate with overwhelming ferocity.

He and his family spent years and tons of NK's money and resources to join the nuclear club as a third-rate team. Congrats on the accomplishment, but it is essentially useless. MAD doesn't apply here. If NK pushes the nuke button, they will lose. Bigly.

Trump won't call a preemptive strike either, despite the posturing, there are too many negative unintended consequences for China and SK if we do. Instead, Trump will use this as leverage against China in whatever we negotiate next.

US defense contractors will get some new projects to build more antimissile technologies but we won't see a shooting war with NK.

Once a year, Kim will have a parade with his rockets to commemorate NK joining the big kid's club.

Our Satellites and other assets are watching every move NK makes and if anything heads out to a launch pad it's on like donkey kong. I also doubt that the NK boat that just had anti ship missiles loaded onto it ever leaves port. If it does it will not make past the 12 mile limit.

The guy is surrounded by a bunch of generals who know any wrong comment could have them in front of an anti tank gun. I would think that they Kim is bombarded with overconfident yes men 24/7 that have built the unrealistic vision that they actually stand a chance against the U.S.

I could have sworn we have been told, NK cant go nuclear, and NK cant hit the US. And now its, he has a mini-nuke and is going to hit us.

It may be that the previous admin wanted to hide NK's progress so as not to be forced to deal with it ot it may be that some in the media want to push this "evidence" in order to force Trump to do something so they can pound him for doing so.

I wouldn't put that past the previous administration. And maybe thankfully so that we didn't do anything the past administration because our military was so f'd up and confused with all the gay/sexual crap that obama was injecting into it.

It's not that the intel has changed, its more that the release of intel has changed. NK has had nuclear facilities for years, infact, the US has sent contractors over to help them clean and repair their facilities. This has happened on a couple of occasions. Generally, the NK government kicks the contractors out of the country after a few months of work and the set up of a plan and keeps all of the contractors equipment so the NK government can do it all without anyone seeing.

Intelligence on foreign enemy regimes is highly classified. I know with all the leaks that doesn't seem to mean as much as it used to but regardless, just because the blow hard suits on CNN and FOX weren't in the loop on "new" and "developing" intelligence doesn't mean the people charged with dealing with this didn't already know.

CNN reports it will take till 2019 before NK develops a deployable warhead. Well great for CNN but at the same time they report this the powers that be are watching them build it and know CNN is just some ratings driven media conglomerate that knows nothing of the subject. CNN can be replaced with any of the others as well if that offends anyone.

When yall watch the news or hear of reports, think really hard about how amazingly stupid these people are. I mean please do not underestimate how little they know and how much they are pretending they do. Also remind yourself how many times they are wrong, I would guess their getting it right percentage is somewhere around congressional approval ratings.

You are spot on. 6 months after I came home from Vietnam it was announced that we were sending over the first F111 jets and they showed a picture of it on TV. 6 months before I left Vietnam we spotted a jet flying low up the A Shau valley and called it in. We thought it was a Mig but were told to not worry it was a friendly. Turns out it was an F111. They had already been there a year before the announcement. Gubmnt doesn't lie do they?

Or body counts. I remember being Active and listening to the body count of civvies and enemy fighters from a particular air strike that ended up on the news. Lets just say the real number was about 10x what the media reported as the media doesn't get to see the real numbers.

I sleep well at night knowing there is a lot of new technology and weaponry we have out in the field right now that myself and the media have no idea exist.
