Default Texas Flag Table

My wife wanted me to make us a new kitchen table. I came across some old wood this past weekend and decided to get it started. The flag will be a true 3x5 with a cedar border around it. the legs will be cedar as well. I have the three sections made for the flag but still need to cut the start. I will use red, white and blue stain(not paint) so that the grain in the wood will still be visible.

IN. Gonna be a cool build. Hey, you know Billy Johnson, he owns Bill's Tire Shop in Waller, but is originally from Hockley.

I know the store and have used them several times but I do not know him personally. I actually live about 4 miles down the road from his store on 1488.

I have not made up my mind yet on the legs. Still trying to decide on either just regular 4 - 4"x4" cut from cedar or some other design

This would be nice for wall art. I make these in smaller versions as well. I have a US and a Texas flag made from whiskey barrel staves on my living room wall.
