Default Dove babies

More than 10 years ago my wife's sister passed and in lieu of flowers my family bought us this live oak tree.
We call it the Carla tree. Trimming it this morning I found these guys.

Cool
I'll have to check the nest at my house
I'm not sure if it's the same bird, but a dove has had babies in the same nest for the last 3 years

Watch them. If mom and dad are happy there, they will have multiple baby's throughout the summer. Friends in PA watched four sets of babies born last summer on a shelf on their patio.

This. I have bluebird nesting boxes in my yard. I get multiple hatches every year.

I've always thought it was kind funny that baby birds are really ugly when they are on the nest...they sure grow up to be handsome creatures.

The big wind storm the other night blew them out of the nest. Dog found 'em. dang.

I was hoping that didn't happen. Those big storms sure hurt a lot of nest.

We find them in the pipe racks @ work quite frequently. We have lots of dove in the plant. The company frowns on us having cameras and shotguns in the plant though.
