We are getting closer to finally building a place to stay at the ranch. I'm not looking for a high dollar custom home, just something nice and cozy @800-1000 sq ft. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I’m not sure if he is still in business but we used JJ Mcafee to build two cabins for us. He does a great job. We have been real happy with them. He typically had a long wait time but once he got started it would get built quickly.

AS soon as I finish rebuilding my house this is what I am building on Matagorda island. 11 sq ft, two bedroom, i bath, open kitchen living room. Front porch looking at the Gulf and the rear door over West Matagorda. I can build the logs at home and install down there. I have built and rebuilt houses my whole life. As soon as the career I am in now plays out, I will be headed into building full time. I'd offer to quote you a cabin price but my sub is covered up through March. If these rains don't back off a little it will be April before he can breath again.
