Yeah Matamoros gets crazy sometimes but the violence doesn't really spill over to Brownsville. Well except the time they kidnapped that dude from a seafood restaurant.

Just an occasional kidnapping. lol

That happened right down the road from my where we live. Did it make me feel unsafe at all? Nope. The guy was involved in bad stuff, so bad things happen. They didn't harm anyone else in the restaurant, just wanted the guy.

I was born and raised in Brownsville. I lived in Missouri for 4 years in a college town and felt my life was in danger waaaayyyy more times up there.
