I think it might have to do with the lack of rain that we had I am not sure. I did not even drive out there since the flowers around the house didn't come out that much.

              Texas through a Yankee lens...

              A New Year's Eve campfire

              Sunrise from a pick-up truck

Chasing hogs with the State Dog

Barbed wire and bones at a cattle ranch

Thousands of acres and miles of sky in South Texas

First time in a deer stand

Homegrown heroes on the big stage

Indie kids on the little stage

              Writing and shooting backstage

Boots, beer, and a blue dog

              Steve sleeping on Shady Sadie

Shutting down the Nutty Brown with TBH

From towns named after things close to my heart.

                    rich in history and culture

                    [

                    cool crystal clear rivers

and warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

And skies that go for miles and miles

Nothing is static here...from the moutains out west, higher than the entire eastern seaboard of the USA

and periodic cold spells allowing us to embrace those that visit from the north during winter.

We all enjoy what Big Country has to offer!!!

                    God blessed this land

Texas is my home....I am blessed.....God Blessed Texas!!!!

                              Texas is rural beauty.

Texas is a state of mind.

Texas is culturally diverse (and diversely influenced.)

Texas is crytal clear water in spring fed streams.

Texas is wildlife and big ranches.

Most of all, Texas is home.
(still searching for an image that defines Home.)
