Mark, If it doesn't rain this afternoon it shouldn't be too bad but I bet we should buy stock in mosquito spray!

            Hello South Plains Archery members,
It's that time again, today we will be setting up the course. With all the rains (thank you Lord) I'm sure any and all help available with be needed and appreciated.
Most people will arrive to help set up around 5:00 when we get off, some go a little earlier so whatever time you can make it would be wonderful!
Keep in mind this Saturday is our annual Danny Beal Memorial Benefit Shoot. The club elected VetStar as our beneficiary this year so PLEASE come out and help support your club and a worthy cause.
Registration begins at 9:00 am with shoot cards in by 2:00
In addition we will hold our 5th Annual night shoot on Saturday as well... the shoot starts at DARK!

Thank you to all who participated today at the Danny Beal memorial shoot. We ended up with 55 shooters which is about normal for this busy time of year. The weather was a little windy and the ground a little muddy but a good time was had by all. I will post scores Monday!
Don't forget we have our 5th annual night shoot tonight. Registration between 8 and 8:30, shoot will start at dark!

I had a great time shooting with a "new kid" and his Dad. We all had a great time and by the 4th stake Dad was wanting to shoot as well. I directed him to Lubbock Indoor so they could get him set up and shooting right. Big welcome to Eric and Elisha from Virginia, newcomers to west Texas.
