    A Night At The Ballpark

Tribe Guthrie headed to the Wolff last night to catch the Missions (San Antonio) take on the Rockhounds (Midland) and take in the post game fireworks display.

As always criticism and critique is welcome, especially how to shoot in shadows and what can I do about the tradeoff in shooting low light with high ISO and high shutter speed.

All pics taken with my K20D and my SMC Pentax-DA 1:4-5.8 55-300mm ED

    Now for the pixels...

Really wish this had been sharper

That's awesome with the ball hanging in the air on the pitch.

That's odd, anyone else not seeing the last 9 pics?

Still can't see them, so here's a repost...

This is the one I wish was sharper. Bottom of the 9th, two outs, runner trying to reach home from second on a double to left.

Catcher held onto the ball and we went extra innings.

        Foul ball...

        And some post game fireworks.

Caught at the moment of ignition.

Cool pics. I like the Umps tattoo of baseball stitches.
