    Fire Pit

Bubba Joe got me motivated. Started out with a busted tractor rim I got from my landowner in Kansas. Finished cutting out the center, turned it over for more depth and welded it back. Made a plate and filled in center hole.
Found some scrap 2" square tubing and made some legs.
Found a piece of expanded metal and made a grate. Left it open so adding wood would be easier.
Took some rebar and made an octagon for a foot rest. Had some brackets left over from one of my machine shipping crates and used them for braces to mount footrest. Added some old horseshoes for strength and looks and some black paint. Ready for burn in.
Not as Versatile as yours Bubba Joe but all I want it for is to maybe grill a steak, make a pot of coffee and set around and enjoy.....

Looks great. How many beers does it take to build one of those.

Thanks for all the Good words. As cold as it was it only took about 6, in the summer it would have been an 18 pack. Gonna smoke test it this weekend, more pics Monday.

Toolman, it's a "67" Vette, 427, 435 HP tri power. She is my Dream car. Never thought I would own one, but always wanted to since they were new.
