Pretty neat to start to know a few of the regional kids playing now in college. My son will be there next year after this last HS year.

I think this will be another year where the committee will have a tough time to deciding how many regionals they allow in Texas.

Horns brought in some good arms and some good bats while trimming some mediocre dead weight with graduation and some late round drafting. Losing the older Clemens' bat hurt a little but hoping Pierce can get this thing turned around and we see some actual consistent offense from the Horns. Hoping the anemic Augie ball stench of his last two years has faded some

Lost our power bats so we will need these young guys to step up but the pitching staff should look solid from the get go.

I think that is a good thing. We relied on the longball too much and led to a lot of stranded runners instead of well hit balls in the gap or sac flies to drive runs in from 3rd. Seems we could only hang crooked numbers, or 0

I'm planning on taking Riley to the TCU-Tech games in Ft. Worth in late April. Both Fri and Sat are night games. Any suggestions on some good places to eat close to campus?

My nephews career is coming to an end. He struggled last year after surgery on his pitching arm... we're hoping he rebounds for 2018!

Fred's, as mentioned earlier. It's on Bluebonnet Circle, about a mile south of the baseball field. Fuzzy's Tacos, Las Vaqueros both on W. Berry, about a mile east of the baseball field. There are some places on University Dr., across the street from TCU that are always hopping.

I'm ready for another banner year. Proud of those Frogs!

Lots of talent available to step up. I went to three of the red black series games and either team on that field could win the conference. Tech is that deep this year. Big XII will be nothing but super entertaining baseball again this year.

TCU rotation looks strong and 2 new faces look good for midweek starts. Have a few positions that need to be filled so offensive production is the unknown at this point.

Yeah, pitching looks lights out on paper right now. Lodolo, Janczak, and Feltman are some of the best in the game. Offense sure is a big question mark. Looking at the roster, only Watson (OF), Baker (1B), and Wanhanen (1B/OF)) return with significant ABs from last year. Humphreys (C) backed up Skoug , and produced when he got the chance. Lots of new freshmen and JUCO players to reload with.

Any of you aggie guys know the status on Will Frizzell, Freshman 3b from Rockwall? Great kid and great hitter. I dug around a bit but couldn't find much, other than he hit 2 bombs in a scrimmage last week.
