On a Turkey Bird Hunt. Hunting buddies property out in West Texas. Popped up a blind. Gobblers come in between 8-1030 every morning. But every time I look out the window I’m like uhhhh...

Here’s my solution...

That’s a good idea. I like going over the scenarios in my mind as how an animal will come in and where a good draw point might be and range those pints over and over again. Helps at the moment of truth in my mind.

Group before me did this on my old lease, bow stands had markers every 10 yards and rifle stands had each shooting lane marked at 50 and 100. Made things way too easy but it was nice!

We used to have rock piles, and on the inside of the blinds have them labeled.

Pile 1 - 18 yards
Pile 2 - 30 yards
Feeder - 20 yards
ETC..
