Traditional First Shot Challenge

Attention all trad shooters, veterans and newbies alike. It has been many months since the last First Shot Challenge. Since we are just a couple of weeks away from the bow opener, I thought I'd see if there is any interest in reviving it.

Rules Reminder: One arrow, no warm up shots. Post a pic of your results. These contests usually run Monday-Saturday. Since is already Thursday let's make the cutoff midnight Sunday instead of Saturday.

Print out to 8 1/2" x 11". Shoot from 15 yards (10 yards for kiddos) Closest to the middle of the circle will pick the target for next week.

There is a "First Shot Everybody" thread in Around the Campfire forum for that.

You can shoot this one if you want, but the winner who picks the next shot should be a trad shooter.

Some folks started the First Shot Everybody thread so compund shooters can enjoy the game the trad folks have been enjoying for several years.

I hate not having a printer at home, so I hope y'all don't mind that I have to draw these.
Jacob shot first, and he said, "I hope that deer didn't hear me shoot!" I shot next, and I too hope the deer was deaf. We both shot high, but had fun. No need to measure this one.

My printer needs ink and won't print! I really wanted to try this one too. Maybe next week!

Looks like tradtiger is the winner. Hopefully with more days to shoot we will get a little better participation this week.
