Camper Propane Line? Cut/Install New Fitting?

I am needing to cut the 1/4” copper line under my camper stove / oven and install a new fitting to be able to put a small lantern size propane bottle.

Anyone have input on how to make it leak proof?

Flare it then crimp style fittings?

Do I have to “sweat” it?

Should I take it somewhere like an RV Repair place?

Cut it and flare it or cut and use a compression fitting. Just be sure to check for leaks after you do it.

to be sure I would talk to your local propane distributor. they will be able to tell you what you need.
