I really like this subject, because it always generates others unique perspective on texture. Excellent choice.

I'll try one, first time to put something in the photo contest. From what I've seen, don't have the chops to hang with most of you, but I'll throw some in to look at anyway. Didn't have a lot on file for texture, but here's one. Taken in the Hill County many years ago when I used to do stupid stuff with snakes. Got way too close to this one trying to get a pic. Scan from Kodachrome.
