Stair calculations

we just made these. platform was 6', so we decided 8' was good for the uprights. Leaned them against the platform, cut an angle on top and bottom of uprights and just started screwing steps to them. Just eyeballed it and screwed the steps on. Actually making stringers was way more calculating and work than i wanted to do for a deer stand...lol

This is what I did with the last blind I built since it was only 4ft off the ground. I am leaning that way on this one as well.

Oh yea handrail is coming, wanted to get this completed and up first then got my measurements to come back and put the rail on

Looks good - great job. Handrail will help a little with deflection if you are getting much.

It was pretty solid as is but I put two 4” top treated post at 4’ and 8’ which sturdied it up real good
