    This is what I did with the last blind I built since it was only 4ft off the ground. I am leaning that way on this one as well.

          Oh yea handrail is coming, wanted to get this completed and up first then got my measurements to come back and put the rail on

            Looks good - great job. Handrail will help a little with deflection if you are getting much.

              It was pretty solid as is but I put two 4” top treated post at 4’ and 8’ which sturdied it up real good
