Default Up Close and Personal...How Not to Call Pigs :)

I went down to the river today. Pulled up on the 4 wheeler to do a little work on a feeder. Got done with that and sat down against a tree to check on a camera and this happened...

Note my pig impressions have zero affect.

They have absolutely no fear of you or you slipped in and had the wind right?? Either way a shotgun full of heavy steel shot would lay a lot of pork down.

I'd have been a little nervous as well with them being that close.
Even tho I know this is what God says in
Genesis 9:2-5 NASBS
The fear of you and the terror of you will be on every beast of the earth and on every bird of the sky; with everything that creeps on the ground, and all the fish of the sea, into your hand they are given.
[3] Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green plant.
[4] Only you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.

I'm not sure how they act/react.
I do know when you shoot one they run Sometimes, not often, they come back....

How is it that we can spray down with scent killer, play the wind, climb into elevated stands being as quiet as we can and still get busted by a smart old sow. And then you park your 4 wheeler right by the feeder and sit within 10 yards of it and they just come on out anyway???? In broad daylight no less. I need to re-think my hog hunting strategy after seeing this. Awesome stuff.
