Would seem like a good way to lose a 7 year olds interest in baseball.

Unless it creates an imminent danger, the show must go on. My daughter rodeo's and it doesn't stop for rain, wind, cold, or heat. Lightning is about the only thing that will shut down a rodeo. Tell those kids to suck it up .

I do not remember the cold bothering my son too often during Baseball practices or games. I think it bothered myself and the other Parents more. We seemed to be colder than the kids because we were not moving around.

The disdain for kids wanting to do something other than stay outside 24/7 around here is amazing. Trust me, more kids will wind up making money off of video gaming and youtubing than they will sports.

I'm not talking about making money off of sports, how about a doctor or plumber or fireman or electrician or astronaut? If you don't think kids living off their phones and/or PlayStation isn't happening you're delusional, and same can be said if you don't think it's unhealthy.

Your delusional...what sports teaches you is well beyond the less then 1% who get paid down the road.

It's the teamwork, buddies, and time of your life you have!

You don't get that being a loser playing video games

But hey if your one of those....to each their own

And yall want to know the difference between generations. This sums it up right here.

O wait we can telecast our 7 year old select baseball online and watch from home on the couch and still not move.

I know a parent who has a kid in select ball. The dad travels internationally for work for 2-3 weeks at a time. He can watch his some play from China with this technology. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Nope, told parents we needed to get going on practice. Only thing that will stop us tonight is rain and dark. Only 1:15 tonight though. This field doesn't have lights.

where are you guys playing out of? Just curious as I would get in contact with one of the indoor places for bad weather workouts. Dbats and TriplePlay up north. Ive seen weeks go where you can not get outside because of rain. these places allow you to still teach fundamentals and get reps.

My Son's Grandfather who lives in New Mexico follows my Son's games when he is pitching.

When I am attending my Daughter's Cheer / or my other Daughter's Volleyball tournament and can't make the game, this is how I get to see Him.

We don't do every game, but it's a blessing to be able to.
