That is one nice rifle. I just picked up a 6.5x284 myself. The only downside with an accurate rig is not being able to blame the rifle when you miss.

Great set up sir! I have the SWFA SS 3-14x on my Remington 700. You'll love it if you haven't used one before!

What bullet are you going to use? I have only shot my 6.5x284 once since I got it. The rifle loved the Nosler 110 accubond loads.

That's what I'm using and accuracy is excellent. I just started loading for mine and it is running right at 2800 fps. I'm sure I can bump the speed up some but really don't see the need.

Planning on 140 Berger VLD

I shoot the 140gr VLD with Lapua brass and 58gr. of Retumbo out of 26" barrel plus muzzle brake and getting 2970fps. Shoots 3/8" groups at 100yds all day long and 1" group at 250yds.

I get 3072fps average out of mine with RL25 powder and 140 VLDs. 26" Hart barrel.
