Need a New Holster for my STI(s)

I had an Alessi holster that I really liked, but it (along with my STI Lawman) was an unfortunate victim of a tragic truck fire.

I still have 3 STI 1911s (two 3.5" and a 4.25") I'm not fond of carrying IWB, especially when I'm at the ranch, and am looking for a good, solid yet reasonably priced option. I'm leaning toward a DM Bullard OWB or Bodyguard, but before I pull the trigger I figured I'd consult the experts here.

I typically like to carry 4 o'clock position. I prefer something that will ride fairly high that can be more easily concealed under a shirt.

PM Cwendling. He makes some great holsters. I carry OWB under a shirt at all times off duty and use only his holsters. We're both LE and work together. Can check his FB page for some pics. https://www.facebook.com/search/str/...photos-keyword

Don't think you would be disappointed in the dm bodyguard. I carry my 19 in one.

Seems like there was a Polaris Ranger Crew fire in the same time period.

I bought a http://www.jmcustomkydex.com/ Appendix for my STI escort carry but he makes all sorts of options, but the wait time sucks. For another well made holster I will reccomend PJ holsters, his wait times are much quicker and just as solid.https://pjholster.com/

I just got a Bulldog Rapid Release OWB for my Taurus PT111 Gen 2 and it is resilient, sturdy, I can change the draw angle, sits pretty high. Holds tight and the button is easy access. They make models for other pistols. I am very pleased for running around the lease with it.

My Dad makes custom holsters and gave me this one for my Kimber for Christmas. It is hand stitched, hand carved, lined and has a thumb break. He has one more already made that is almost just like it. He has a variety in stock for 1911's.
