It’s another summer, and another request for prayers. My daughter’s in Sacramento and said it’s hazy, ash on her car this morning (the fires are not close) and Interstate 5 is a constant stream of fire trucks, power company equipment and trailers with dozers from southern Cal heading north towards Redding and the Carr fire.
Whiskeytown where she camped a little over a month ago is destroyed. The Carr fire is inside city limits in Redding. Our nephew and his wife visited a few weeks ago and went to Yosemite- it’s closed at least to next Friday the smoke is so bad from a fire outside the park.
Lives are being lost- firefighters, dozer operators and residents.
Please say a prayer for the firefighters, dozer operators, police, search/rescue personnel and those who have lost their lives and homes.
