    E. Texas land owners ***warning***warning****warning***

After burning up 1/2 the summer, we/some finally got rain....

Now, round #1 of the &$&%ing army worms!!!

If you think you have little to no grass now... wait till these little &@$%^ do their thing

    They are tiny but thick!

Walk fields early while dew is on grass. Drag your feet and they will stick to your boot.

If you check when it’s already got they will be in the ground and you won’t find until you see grass blade damage. At that point you have 2-3 days before you have nothing to spray

Between the June draught, army worms, grasshoppers, and the freakin’ deer, I’m not gonna have any kind of crop on my place. At least I can kill and eat the deer this fall. 👍

Mow it and it grows back overnight! I hate it! Tears up lawn mower blades quicker than concrete! I spray Patriot every year and let my Bermuda take over. This season wasn't too bad. Hopefully by next year I will have very little to spray.

Now for a pasture I don't mind it. Out if my 90 acres 20 of it is open pasture. Mix of coastal and Bahai. I just leave it how it is as it does cover the ground good.
