    Kap! Pistol dirt nap.

Last night about 10:30 I could hear one of our heifers calling. I had opened the gate from the house pasture to the riverbottom earlier and she had gotten separated . I went out to push her to the herd.
Well this guy and a few of his buddies were milling around in the wash behind the house. I could hear them In the leaves. I snuck across the wash and he walked head on straight into my flashlight beam at about 15 yards. I got off 3 shots with my 40 cal. One hit in front of the shoulder and another in front of the right ham. Luckily the first one did the trick. Found him about 20 yards away in the direction all the others ran. Brought him up to the yard and My little girl was stoked. She pulled up a chair and stayed outside with me to clean him up. When we got wrapped up she managed to find the bullet laying on the ground. She said she was going to keep it til she was old enough to have her own gun one day

S&W 40 cal. Sigma. It's my sidearm for around the farm. Nothing fancy because I drag it around all over but
twice its come in handy with pigs like last night.
