So 9-3 and a bowl win. That's by no means a stretch. They were in every game last year after the Maryland debacle and a lot of teams on the schedule lost senior QB's. A couple of those losses, one to a good USC team with a great QB, were lost at the end by freshman QB mistakes.

Chad, you gonna count the spring game too?

9-3 sounds extremely doable for the Longhorns this year. Heck, even 8-4 would be great. I just do not see them losing four games this season though. They certainly have the talent to get to 9 wins or beyond. No “great” QB’s to go against this upcoming season. I beleive my Longhorn buddies can finally take a breath and relax.

I would consider 8 wins an abject failure.

Texas’ schedule sets up nice this season for 9-10 wins.

I've got a feeling the o/u on wins for Texas this year is 8 when Vegas releases their win totals, even if it's 8.5, all of ya'll should get rich this year after reading this thread on the over.

                          Bet the farm!

Based on the spring game the QB, RB, OL positions have either slightly improved or haven't at all, and lost quite a bit of D talent. I don't see why you'd consider it a huge failure with 8 wins when that hasn't been done since 2013...

I wouldn't. 8-9 wins would be a step in the right direction.

The D is gonna be very good again. The Oline will be better. RB is why they will not win 10 in the regular season.
