Does anyone know about when this bow was manufactured or if the serial number reflects the year? It was the first recurve that I bought and I know less about it than almost all of my other bows.

The first letter of the serial number is supposed to be the year of manufacture. It is a 5 so the possibilities are 75, 85, 95, or 2005. I have seen some picture of 70s era bows and I can't see a similarity in the wood used. The sticker with the bar code makes me think maybe 2005.Comment

I sort of thought maybe but wanted to hear it from someone more knowledgeable about Howatts than myself. I knew that it wasn't a fifteen as I have had the thing for several years, probably seven or eight. Where does a fellow learn about Howatts and Martins?Comment
