    This is awesome!

@max_olson: Case McCoy on why TCU is favorite vs. Texas: "Probably because I'm the quarterback, right?"

He's been awesome versus the media, kid has something to prove.

@mikefinger: More Case McCoy: "I keep a chip on my shoulder. No one thinks I'm any good except for my team."

But TCU's defense has been good holding Tech's offense to 20 while their offense has had some strong showings including 27 on LSU. TCU is underperforming this year. It is likely Texas will get their best shot and Vegas seems to agree.

I don't like this game for the Horns.

            He zinged them with another...

@davidubben: Texas is on fire today RT @mikefinger McCoy, asked about Mack not letting him check to pass plays late vs. OU: "That was him being smart."

This is why the bye may be a good thing!

@ESPNTexas: Mack Brown: "I was happy we did not play last weekend. They were full of themselves. The 48-hour rule got extended, no doubt."

48-45 Aggies. Defense will give up 250+ yards on the ground

Mizzou is getting it done in the trenches!

Mizzou's Michael Sam is tied with the most sacks in the nation with 9. Same as Ole Miss (9) and more than Mississippi St (8), Texas A&M (7)

Bowl projections are funny at best with so many games to play. But, I've seen in several threads lately that Aggies are hoping to play the Horns.

Well, projections are putting them in Dallas.

                      Question for the Ags...

How big a game is Vandy?

Is this the tipping point for the season?

Tipping point meaning ....we settle for cotton?
                        or...coaches get fired...
                        what do you mean?

its a big game... with our defense making any opponent into top 5 scorers in the nation...every game is a big game.

At this point. Cottonbowl for the Ags is not settling.

UT and ATM could meet in the Cotton...if the Horns don't make a BCS.

Barking Carnival had a poll on what kind of team Texas will have for the rest of the season:

                              A) Win out, go to a BCS bowl, and give Mack a raise.

                              B) Lose one, go to the Cotton Bowl, Mack survives.

                              C) Lose out (except maybe to Kansas), and Mack bows out gracefully.

                              D) I have no **** clue.

D won the poll going away.

At this point in time Heath everygame from now till the end of the season is the tipping point. They can't afford to lose anymore games much less the next 3. I realize their defense stinks but Vandy showed up with their best game this year and beat an injured Georgia team who let North Texas stay with them for one half. A&M won't win a game by more than a touchdown the rest of the season but I honestly see them going 9-3 maybe 8-4 with third loss to Missouri for sure and a 50 50 chance to win in Baton Rouge.
