So what is this plant? It does have a very small fruit attempting to grow. The leaves smell awesome. It is only 8-10 foot tall

Fig newtons coming your way. My grandma made some kind of candy from figs and dates when I was a kid. My neighbor has a couple of fig bushes and gives me some every year.

Is there a fruitless version, I have one taking over my alley, but I’ve never seen fruit, but maybe I should look more closely instead of cussing it from a distance!
