I'm not at all familiar with Axis. Never hunted a part of the state that has them, though I have cooked/eaten it. Now if they were running off the WT, I could see how that would be an issue. But judging by the last pic, I'd say that's not the case.

Run feeder at separate times, one for Axis and one for Whitetail. Options are good to have and I throw my hat in the ring for thinning the herd!!

Most of us have this problem with pigs, not Axis. For a guy in DFW with no ties in the southern part of the state to see one of these animals that's awesome, but I get it. Id love an opportunity to harvest one for the meat!

People make jokes but axis really are almost as bad as pigs. They push white tail out and eat hundreds of pounds of feed in days!!!

That is a problem. You just showed us a microcosm of what is happening to natural deer in our state. Introduce a foreign species and they eat all the food intended for the natural species. Again like has been mentioned if you are gonna have a problem it might as well be a good one.
