I say taco soup. Apparently no one read the second sentence.
You can’t go wrong with chicken dumplings on a winter day. That potato soup recipe sounds pretty dang good as well.

The Pioneer Women’s Chicken and Dumpling recipe is awesome. I leave the cream out so it keeps better for leftovers. The dumplings are very good. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

My wife makes a Zuppa Toscana too, man that stuff is delicious. Hers has spicy sausage and kale in it, there aren't usually any leftovers.

Brown your meat, dump all that in a crock pot and add 2 cans of water, I usually sub 1 bottle of dos xx and a can of water. Let it cook 3-4 hours on low and it's amazing.
Just leave the corn out of mine please---too sweet tasting for me.

My sister-in-law has a texture issue with corn and whenever we make the soup she picks every kernel of corn out of her bowl . It's quite hilarious

I was skeptical about it but after I tried it I really like it. Got to be careful with the extra peppers though.

I won't eat anything with corn in or on it....except corn on the cob. I like your sister.

Oyster soup is tradition in some homes this time of year. Going to be expensive to make a good one in Texas this year though

We get oxtail at our local H-E-B. It’s expensive but makes a **** good stew.
