Gonna build a 6.8 for night hog hunting but don't know what direction to go on the barrel.
Any advice?

I'm happy with my ar15 performance barrel. I think they have some on sale right now if there not sold out.

AR15 performance is probably one of the best .. and is priced right. I would also get their 6.8 super bolt.
This barrel (11.25 twist)

Wilso Combat, bought their upper and this thing is a tack driver. They aren't cheap but well worth the extra money.

Another vote for Bison. My upper is a fantastic shooter.

ARP hands down. They are the innovator in 6.8 ... 5R or 3R Nitro-carburized barrels and their prices are very low for what you are getting.
12.5" for an SBR or 16" is all you are going to need for hogs.
Currently I have a Bison 1:7 twist 8.5" pistol and three ARP's from 12.5 to 20 inch. No longer have a Wilson.

Another vote for ARP. I know several guys besides myself that run this barrel and all endorse it.
