$800 to spend on a scope.....

Looking to buy my first real higher end scope.

Have around $800 give or take a little. Strictly a hunting scope but here are a couple that I have my eye on for the price. I know this is like beating a dead horse, but I am stumped. I know I can not go wrong with the ones listed, but still like to have others opinions or any other recommendations. Do not really shoot extreme range, but my ideal scope is 3-15, 3-18, or 4-14 somewhere around there.

TRACT TORIC UHD 3-15x44/50 (Japanese Made, Schott glass)
    Leupold VX-5HD
    Zeiss Conquest HD5 3-15X42
Burris Veracity 3-15 (can get the cheapest)
    SWFA SS 3-15x42 SFP
    Sig Sauer BDX system 4.5-14

    Here are just a couple.

I went with a Swarovski Z3 from Sportoptics.com for less than $800. I love it!

The VX5 is what I'd go with. You could also have a Swaro Z3 for that price as well. Eurooptic usually has a good selection of Swaro Demos.

I would choose the Leupold and be done with it. It just won the "Optic of the Year" award as well.

Meopta is another good one in that price range. Can get a 6-18 for that price

I can get a used vx6 for around that price as well used. The vx6 is what I wanted initially but didnt want to cough up the coin.

Yes have looked at those, but have never looked through one. Have heard good things from them.

Yeah, I believe so. Its been so long since I've looked at it, but I have it on a 6.5X55 Fieldcraft.

I just put the VX6 HD on my custom 300. Shot it last weekend. And hunted with it as well. I’m in love wish I could have them on all my guns.

+1 for the Leupold. Great glass and best warranty.

I'm Leupold fan. That would get my vote.
