    Bird ID

I seen this bird at our lease in Duval county last weekend and I can’t remember ever seeing one like this before. Does anyone know what type of bird it is?

I don’t think it’s a green jay. Seems like all the green jays I see there haves solid black head. This one just has a black stripe from his eye to his beak.

Green jays have black throats. Im leaning towards female painted bunting or male common yellowthroat. Kinda wrong shape for the yellowthroat though.

We have a ton of green jays and I see them all the time, this one had no green at all on him and only has a black stripe by his eye.

I forget their proper name, but we've always called them a "Yat-te-hay" bird because their call sound like they're sayin' that... Reminds me of the old John Wayne Westerns... May be a Western Kingbird...

I too think it is probably a cedar waxwing. They can sometimes be fairly yellow in color.
