Ribeye Cooked in the oven......

For all those naysayers out there saying steaks can be good after cooking in oven here's a little thread to show start to finish of a great ribeye.

Steak is sitting out on counter coming to room temp with a coat of course kosher salt.

The reverse sear is the only way I will cook ribeye's now unless I have a nice mesquite fire going.

The reverse sear is the only way I will cook ribeye's now unless I have a nice mesquite fire going.

I prefer reverse sear to anything else. The smoke flavor covers up the greatness of the beef flavor. I like them cooked over coals, but if I'm cooking, they're being cooked in the oven.
