Help in posting sharp photos on forums

When you guys post pics on a forum...how do you get good sharpness? The pics are sharp after I resize them...but when I post them on certain forums they never look as sharp. I use Photoscape to resize and process.

Is it better to upload them from a file or post the URL from a site like Flickr, etc.. to get sharper pics on a forum?

I host my pics on SmugMug and link to them here. Resizing to fit as an attachment here screws them up.

If you have photoshop it is good to resize there because you can use the bicubic resizing tool.
Uploading to a hosting website will work, like Shane said

I use both flickr and photobucket... Works great...
