help splitting audio/video

So I am trying to make a video from a church event the other night, but my camera does not have audio inputs so I'm using the CD that was recorded overlayed onto the video. However, the service was 1hr 40 minutes, so I have multiple CD's. Is there a way to seperate the audio stream from the cameras mic so that I can use the audio from the mic for the section of the service where we were changing CD's? Also, is there a way to shorten the clip from the CD from a 75 minute track to multiple 5-10 minute tracks?

If you have a program like adobe premier it separates audio tracks automatically. I'm not real familiar with any other programs. If do it for ya if I still had premier.

so if I download the trial of Premier I should be good to go then?
