    DIY Built-In Wine Rack

I did a Kitchen remodel earlier this year and I moved my VentHood/Microwave up because I thought it was too close to the Stovetop.

In doing this it left a 30"x7" hole where cabinet doors used to be. I needed to fill in this space but figured new smaller cabinet doors would be hard to match and expensive.

Then I thought of a built in Wine Rack...

Its not painted yet and the inside box has to be completed but the rack is done.

It looks good. You should look into getting it powder coated. It shouldn't cost very much.

You may want to put some insulation around that. If you are a wine snob, the higher temps from being around the microwave and range hood will kill a good bottle after a while. Design is very cool.

Going to look at getting it powder coated. I still need to clean it up a bit.

                    Thanks Guys!

I think I am going to line the inside of the box with decorative sheet metal painted a black tint. I am also looking at insulating the box as well.

                    Appreciate the comments and suggestions.
