          I’m carrying a p238

Ps: I’m 5’11” and 170lbs, wear wranglers and always have my shirt tucked in, it’s hard for me to conceal much, but this little dude does the trick and is just plain fun to shoot

AR-15. Actually this is a question that I have been answering for over 40 years.
You have to find the weapon that fits you and YOU are comfortable with.
I carry a 380 I know how it shoots and I know its limit.

All of the above plus a nice trigger.

I was carrying a PC Shield in .40 until a few days ago. Prior to that I carried an XDs in .45 for two years. I carry day in day out, no matter what I'm doing. I usually carry IWB in an N82 Tactical under a Tshirt. A few days ago I ejected the magazine from my Shield, with great difficulty, and the magazine catch stayed depressed. Not only that, the slide was VERY hard to pull back to eject the round in the chamber. After soaking in CLP for three days the magazine catch and the slide seem to be working properly, but it's still going back to S&W tomorrow. The gun was bought in April. I carried the XDs two years in the same way and the same places and never had a problem. Don't construe this as running S&W down, because IMO they make some fine firearms. Maybe the tolerances are a little tighter ? I don't know, but I do know I was carrying a $350 chunk of metal expecting it to preserve my life if needed. I don't know if I can carry it with as much confidence when it's returned. We'll see.
