    This Bowhuntin stuff is fun

Axis,Axis,Axis out the kazoo every morning for a while now with a very nice buck mixed in. Finally getting in the mood after restringing the Dren and shooting it in. Got in the tree plenty early Sat morn searching for that big axis. No wind and had a few snorts early before daylight. Daylight came and it settled down with bout a dozen whitetail below me. Feeder goes off and only a couple of axis show up. Wait a good while and realized that the buck I'm after is gonna be a noshow, So the oppertunist that I am, decided to take this guy out. He finally turned sideways at 24 yds and that luminock was a beautiful sight disappearing low into his chest cavity. Last I saw him he was runnig pretty low to the ground. Never heard him crash but knew his heart was in big trouble. Only waited bout 5 minutes and got down. Started tracking and soon had two blood trails. one on each side. Found him piled up about 50 yds. TOO much fun. Went back home, changed cloths, got the dog and went and got him. The season has started...... edit..... Oh yea, He was Slick Tricked
