Well i just got into this trad bow thing and after asking a bunch of questions i decided i needed to hang my recurve and longbow asap. After looking around on the web to buy one i decided i wasent gonna pay for something i could make and enjoy it. So i got some ideas put together with the help of the web of course and headed to Home Depot with my daughter. Since im recovering from knee surgery i could use all the help i can get. Besides she really likes wood shop and has made some cool stuff.

(2) small stain sponge brushes
(1) 1/2"x36" pine dal stick
(1) sand paper sponge
Wood glue
Tools...

Skil saw
Square
Drill
1/2" bit
1/8" bit
The total cost on the supplies i bought today was around $22. This included..
Wood boards
Dal stick
Stain
Sponge brushes
Sanding sponge
Ok, now the measurements.
(2) pieces at 33 1/4" for the sides.
(2) pieces at 24 1/2" for the inside braces
(1) piece at 26" for the bottom
I used the small stain jar as a tool for my half moon cuts on the side boards just for added looks.
Now i didnt take to many pictures cause i actually didnt think about doing a follow along till in was put together. So sorry bout that.
I screwed the side boards on by drilling two 1/8" pilot holes on each side up through the bottom 26" board then screwing the sides and bottom together.
I screwed the inside braces by doing the same process as mentioned above only this time on the side boards and screwing the inside braces together.
The dal sticks were added on by drilling three 1/2" holes on each side 8" apart measuring from the bottom. I added some wood glue to the almost perfect fit holes for safety securement.
We got this far today but its pretty much complete other than the staining process. This will be done tomorrow.
Keep yall posted on the staining and final pics done outside in better lighting.
