Got these three done. The top two are a father son set for fatheres day. The bottom one is for brother jayrod7588.

These have exhibition grade mesquite handles with brass hardware. The sheaths are tooled and have been oiled several times with neatsfoot oil then rubbed with mink oil. The two for the father son set have acid etched blades and the bottom one is satin finished with black spacers between the handle and blade.

That is acid etching. Just use finger nail polish where ever you don't want it etched leave it in the solution for about 30 min. Then buff

Yeah there's a guy I know he does it but he goes into detail. He drew out a USA flag and a star and the etched it, it was really cool.

You can get the etching solution from radio shack it's Pcb etching solution for etching mother boards. You can also look up how to do it on youtube
