81 and still getting it done

I had the pleasure of being able to take my uncle hunting on opening weekend. He has hunted most of his life and has never harvested a buck worthy of mounting ( his words ). Being a guest he was allowed to harvest a mature 8 or smaller buck. There was absolutely no hesitation from my uncle when this one stepped out. It isn't a monster by any stretch of the imagination but it is the largest he has ever harvested.

Hope I'm able to share many more hunts with this man.

Yeah I like it too. I told him he was too dang old to be posing like he is a tough guy. It was actually an accident that I got that picture but I thought it was awesome and have had some fun with it.
