its a very flat shooting caliber that was made to reach out there and knock down deer. Because of that, I would go with a high magnification scope. A leupold VX-6 in 3-18x44 would be a great choice, as would any of the European optics in higher magnification ranges.

If you really want to take advantage of the cartridge you need higher magnification glass—preferably of high quality. I like magnification, so I'd want 15x or more on the top end.
