You can get Lucchese ropers in cowhide for around $350 or less.

I wear nothing but boots. I've found that semi pointed toe neoprene type sole Ariats look pretty good and make good work boots. Way less than 200.

I tried on every brand in cavenders when I was looking for my current square toe pair in my price range. Each fit a little different in width and size. I went with the Ariats because they felt the best on my foot. I would suggest try them all on. Coach

I like double h and they had some in EE for my wide feet. Very comfy.

I like ariat and twisted x

If you’ll drop a little more coin ML Leddy’s are hard to beat. I think their production boot is the voquero

                      Try what fits best.

I prefer Nocona smooth ostrich. Ostrich is comfortable and you can get a pair of Noconas for probably $250 after tax. Obviously less if it’s on sale or with a coupon.

I haven't had much luck with boots under $200 but you might be able to catch a sale. I did get lucky and scored a pair of nice Dan Post Ostrich square toes at Boot Barn the other day for $279. They were on clearance from $550 and happened to be my size. The most comfortable pair I have is my Tony Lama Ostrich with crepe soles that I bought about 9 years ago.

Here is the boots I caught on clearance..

Been having good success wearing these Lacrosse tall grass western toe.
For the price, these are dang good boots.

Today's Ariat are junk China product as you might expect. Twisted X are made in China, too, as well are Justin (unless you buy the specific Made in USA that puts you out of the $200 range).

Double H are in that range. I have a pair that are built MUCH better than the Chinese truck window sticker brands.

Thorogood is the best work boot and dress boot. IMO
